Recital 9.5 is the latest release of the Recital database and 4GL engine, the core of Recital's cross-platform enterprise-class family of products. Recital 9.5 offers yet further improvements in the performance and ease of migration of FoxPro, Visual FoxPro and FoxBASE applications to Linux, UNIX and OpenVMS.

Recital 9 Terminal Developer is an advanced cross-platform server-based development environment with an integrated database that enables XBase business-critical applications to be developed or migrated quickly and easily.

Recital 9 Visual Developer includes Recital Enterprise Studio for developing, debugging, migrating and deploying business-critical XBase applications with Web, Windows and terminal user interfaces, and a .NET Client for deploying graphical client/server and web-based applications.

Recital 9 Web Developer includes Recital Firecat, a cross-platform data centric HTTP Server that incorporates the Recital Database and 4GL. Using Recital Firecat you can generate dynamic content web pages written in the Recital/4GL. Recital Firecat can coexist with the existing Web Server on your system, so there is no disruption to your existing website infrastructure or security.

The Recital 9 Database Server is a cross-platform data integration server that is ANSI SQL compliant and is also compatible with Visual FoxPro 8.0 SQL.
